It lasted 15 weeks, comparable to the previous season.

It was slightly more severe at its peak than during the 2016–17 and 2017–18 seasons.

The proportion of hospitalizations for bronchiolitis was lower than in the past four seasons.

In the French West Indies, the epidemic that began in week 43/2018 ended in week 04/2019.

In Réunion, the epidemic that began in week 06/2019 is still ongoing.
