Summary

  • 43 departments placed under an orange alert on August 25 (+6 compared to August 24), spread across 8 regions.

  • On August 25, emergency care visits for conditions directly related to the heat rose moderately compared to the previous day nationwide, particularly among children under 15, adults aged 15–44, and adults aged 75 and older.

  • Regionally, heat-related medical visits are on the rise in the Aquitaine-Limousin-Poitou-Charentes and Hauts-de-France regions, both in emergency departments and at SOS Médecins clinics. In the Grand-Est and Île-de-France regions, these visits are increasing only at SOS Médecins clinics.
