Given the ongoing circulation of SARS-CoV-2, particularly during large gatherings this summer and in long-term care facilities, adhering to preventive measures remains an effective way to protect against respiratory infection and its complications and to limit the risk of transmission to others, especially vulnerable individuals: wearing a mask if symptoms are present and regular handwashing are therefore recommended.
