A community-based approach to preventing dengue fever in Martinique.
Preventing dengue fever, a disease transmitted to humans by mosquitoes, is a priority for Martinique, which regularly faces outbreaks. The department is implementing an action plan to educate the public through the "Toussaint" campaign and an annual mosquito control day, as well as offering training in mosquito control and providing information in schools.
