A psychologist at a local employment agency: “Listening to them and helping them take charge of their own health.”

Helping the young people she works with take charge of their own health: that is the goal psychologist Carol Susagna has set for herself. While aware of the limits of her work—guiding people toward access to care is complex—she highlights the undeniable psychological support provided by professionals: individual counseling, follow-up, as well as group workshops and support groups help improve listening skills and even facilitate care.
