The Visual Prescription is unique in that it was developed by users in collaboration with professionals at a community center. It enables people who have difficulty reading and/or writing to properly follow their doctors’ medication instructions. The Visual Prescription was the winner of the most recent national competition on patients’ rights in healthcare, held on April 18, 2017.
