Addictive behaviors among young people: One year in, Mildeca takes stock of the government’s plan.

The Government Plan to Combat Drugs and Addictive Behaviors (2013–2017) emphasizes prevention, support, and care for young people. Mildeca supports the implementation of prevention programs, particularly peer-led initiatives, parenting support, and the promotion of children’s and adolescents’ health. Training for various prevention stakeholders and primary care health professionals will be expanded. Finally, a communication campaign aimed at promoting the use of youth counseling services will be launched.
