AIDS Prevention: Many Challenges to Overcome: Learn More [Bibliography]
In keeping with the structure of this *La Santé de l'homme* special report, this "Further Reading" section is organized around four themes: prevention policies and information campaigns; epidemiological data; current status and prevention: a population-based approach; and care and support. This resource guide provides references to books, tools, resource centers, websites, and journals. The authors did not consider it relevant to include references to documents covering general information about the disease. Since general data changes rapidly, they preferred instead to provide contact information for resource centers. Furthermore, the majority of the references address the issue of AIDS in Western countries. For information on other countries, readers may consult the UNAIDS website (www.unaids.org [last visited on 09/14/2005]) and the following report: UNAIDS. Report on the Global AIDS Epidemic 2004: 4th Global Report. Geneva: 2004, 236 p. Online: http://www.unaids.org/bangkok2004/report.html [Last accessed: 09/14/2005].
