Being attentive, adaptable, and responsive to provide the best possible guidance to patients at risk of suicide [Interview].

The VigilanS program is available to anyone who has attempted suicide. The goal is to maintain contact—via phone or mail—and to arrange the most appropriate follow-up care if necessary. Telephone counseling plays a major role in this support. A team specializing in relapse prevention monitors the situation and coordinates with general practitioners and other involved professionals. Over time, more and more professionals struggling to handle patients at risk of suicide are turning to VigilanS. Testimonials from professionals using the program in the Jura region.
