Chronic diseases are a hidden reality.

Interview with Laïla Loste, coordinator of the "Chroniques associés" coalition of organizations and project manager at AIDES. Between 9 and 28 million French people live with a chronic illness. Ten organizations have formed a coalition called "Chroniques associés" to raise awareness among the public and government officials about the daily challenges faced by these individuals and their loved ones. When it comes to therapeutic support, access to rights, social integration, and employment, these individuals do not always have access to standard support systems, emphasizes Laïla Loste, coordinator of the collective. Chronic illnesses can cause severe physical and psychological distress, which, in many cases, is compounded by financial insecurity. This collective represents those affected.
