Community Education and Health Education: A Comparative Perspective.
What values do community education and health education have in common? How do they complement and enrich each other, and how do their approaches differ? We asked two professionals from these respective fields to offer a “cross-perspective” on education, health, and health promotion for children and young people. While each works according to their own methodology, based on their specific constraints and characteristics, our two interviewees agree on the essential values they share. And on the value of opening up health education to community education settings, and vice versa.
