In the context of peer education, what role should adult mentors play?

The Epidaure Research Center in Montpellier has developed a program called "P2P: Peer-to-Peer Health" that engages young people and professionals in a prevention initiative. The role of the adult, the expert, and thus the mentor, was particularly scrutinized during the program’s evaluation, as this individual plays a central role that must be carried out with a highly rigorous educational approach and within a very specific ethical framework.
