Health: A Challenge for Students: Learn More [Bibliography]

During our research, we found very little literature on health promotion initiatives in the student community. However, students’ health status is fairly well documented, particularly through surveys conducted by student health insurance organizations or by university preventive medicine and health promotion services. The bibliographic section of this section first lists a few documents that provide insights into students’ living conditions; students’ health status is addressed primarily through references to survey results, followed by a few documents on health behaviors. The references that follow pertain to documents discussing how universities address student health. Finally, the few documents identified that describe health promotion initiatives or recommendations in this area are referenced. A list of resource organizations and websites completes the section.[article excerpt]
