Juno: A Teenager Facing an Unwanted Pregnancy.

Unwanted pregnancy is the central theme of Jason Reitman’s 2007 American film, *Juno*. Upon discovering to her shock that she is pregnant, a young teenager sees her life and relationships with those around her turned upside down and decides to have her unborn baby adopted by a couple. Jason Reitman’s film provides an opportunity, for example, to show boys the profound psychological impact that the prospect of unexpected motherhood has on a teenage girl. As Michel Condé explains, such a dialogue should foster greater understanding between girls and boys.
