Older adults see their doctor six times a year.

As people age, they tend to visit their primary care physician more frequently; those over 60 see their doctor six times a year (compared to four times for those under 60). However, among people with serious medical conditions, those over 60 tend to see their doctor less often than younger people.[article excerpt]
