Parents and Childbirth Professionals: A New Relationship?

The desire to have children, as well as the care and support provided during pregnancy, labor, and childbirth, have undergone profound changes over the past few decades. How is parenthood practiced today? What roles do parents play in their interactions with healthcare professionals? In France, following a period of significant "medicalization," we are now seeing a shift in roles, with parents playing an increasingly important part in their children’s care.
