Positive Psychology: A Literature Review of Effective Interventions.
The foundation of positive psychology is to improve one’s well-being and achieve personal fulfillment by cultivating positive emotions, engaging in the present moment, finding meaning in life, achieving success, and building positive relationships with others. A literature review by Santé publique France indicates that positive psychology interventions are likely to improve well-being and help reduce depressive symptoms; it reaches the same conclusions as previous reviews. While the extent of the improvement is often modest, the positive impact can be significant at the population level.
