Jean-Marie Lacau has a daughter with a severe intellectual disability. A former executive in the private sector, at age 40, he gave up everything to found the association Réseau-Lucioles. This association conducts research projects aimed at gathering knowledge and experiences regarding severe intellectual disabilities to support parents and professionals. It disseminates this information through articles, books, films, technical workshops, training sessions, tools, and practical recommendations.
