In Châtellerault, Évry, Mâcon, Liévin, Marseille, and Metz, professionals and elected officials were surveyed about sports facilities in ZUS areas and the barriers to participation. The findings indicate that residents of these neighborhoods are generally disadvantaged by a more limited range of facilities that are not necessarily suitable and suffer from a lack of maintenance.
