This seminar, organized to mark the tenth anniversary of the INPES Health Barometer, aimed to assess the challenges associated with measuring trends in health surveys and to propose consensus-based recommendations for future surveys. Presentations by experts addressed issues such as calculating refusal rates in telephone surveys, handling changes in repeated cross-sectional surveys, and the contribution of multilevel models in contextual analysis, among others. Structured around three thematic workshops (“survey protocol,” “data processing,” and “regional surveys,”) this seminar provided ample opportunity for discussion and exchange among participants. A summary of the presentations and discussions from each workshop is provided, along with a comprehensive report.
