Quality assurance process for organizations involved in health promotion.
INPES is offering a companion volume to the 2009 guide "How to Improve the Quality of Your Health Promotion Initiatives." The guide, developed in partnership with organizations based on a compilation of experiences and a detailed analysis of the literature, was designed as a practical tool to provide step-by-step support to organizations in their quest for continuous improvement in the quality of services provided to the public. The book "Quality Approach for Associations Working in Health Promotion," which follows this guide, serves as a tool for transferring knowledge on the fundamentals of quality, and more specifically on the quality approach in health promotion. These two documents help define a foundation of shared values and principles regarding quality development. This point is important for improving dialogue between the organizations that implement initiatives, the public authorities that support and fund them, and the affected populations, given that Measure 15 of the 2006 National Conference on Prevention was established to facilitate the mobilization of health promotion organizations, in a fragile context where structures and practices require reinforcement.
