Healthcare utilization and pain management.
Prescription drug use in France is among the highest in industrialized nations and has continued to rise over the past few decades. A significant proportion of people aged 12 to 75 have taken psychotropic medications in the past twelve months, including antidepressants, tranquilizers, or sleeping pills. In addition, 5.7% of French people have taken products designed to enhance physical and mental performance. The results detail the use of healthcare professionals, the consumption of certain products, and attitudes toward pain.
