Key Points

In Week 23 (June 1–7, 2026), activity at SOS Médecins clinics was down compared to the previous week, mainly among children under 2 years of age (-7%, or 411 fewer visits) and adults aged 75 and older (-6%, or 366 fewer visits).

Among children aged 2–14, however, several indicators were up compared to the previous week:

  • gastroenteritis (+14%, or +218 cases), at a higher level than in the previous three years;
  • acute abdominal pain (+42%, or +164 visits);
  • trauma (+16%, or +130 cases), at a higher level than in the previous three years;
  • viral syndrome (+20%, or +70 visits);
  • chickenpox (+10%, or +59 cases).

Among adults, there was an increase in cases for:

  • gastroenteritis (+8%, or +252 cases);
  • anxiety (+15%, or +215 visits) and depression, primarily among those aged 15–44 (+23%, or +45 visits), at levels higher than in the previous three years;
  • urinary tract infections among those aged 15–74 (+7%, or 117 more visits).
