Santé publique France sought broader input from the Health, Environment, and Work Expert Committee in order to formulate recommendations for improving the Agency’s responses to public health challenges raised in the context of local reports on Health, Environment, and Work (SET), and with the aim of supporting the management of such situations. The question posed to the committee is as follows: What changes might Santé publique France consider making to the approaches it employs to (better) address public health challenges in the context of investigations into local reports related to environmental health and/or occupational health? The Agency’s purpose in referring this matter to the SET Committee is to obtain its opinion in order to clarify the responses to be provided and the methods to be applied by Santé publique France during local investigations in the areas of health, environment, and work. If appropriate, the committee may recommend changes to the Agency’s current approaches or even recommend conducting additional research.
