Antimicrobial Resistance at the Heart of the One Health Concept, November 18, 2026

Santé publique France, Inserm’s Priority Research Program on Antibiotic Resistance, and ANSES are co-hosting a scientific seminar on November 18, 2026, dedicated to the challenges and innovations in the fight against antimicrobial resistance.

To mark World Antimicrobial Resistance Awareness Week (i.e., resistance to antibiotics, antiparasitic drugs, antifungals, and plant protection products), the three organizations are co-hosting a one-day event on this topic, at the intersection of surveillance and research in animal and human health.

Seminar Program

  • Presentation of surveillance data on antimicrobial use and resistance in humans and animals
  • Roundtable discussion on antimicrobial resistance at the heart of the One Health concept
  • Progress of the Priority Research Program on Antimicrobial Resistance: review and presentation of the winners of the second call for proposals, as well as the results of previously funded projects (PHAG-ONE, IDARS, and PROMISE)
  • Presentations by the European OH-AMR (One Health AntiMicrobial Resistance) partnership, the Infectious Diseases Cluster (IDCluster) biocluster, and the interagency “One Health” working group.
