COVID-19: Excess mortality among immigrants

An analysis of the excess mortality observed during the first wave of COVID-19 reveals a disproportionate impact on certain foreign-born populations. Immigrants from sub-Saharan Africa were particularly affected, with those aged 40 to 69 experiencing excess mortality rates up to nine times higher than those of the French-born population.
