Prevention

• Vaccination as of April 18, 2022 (Covid Vaccine data):

  • 83.6% of those aged 65 and older had received a full primary vaccination series and a booster dose

  • Among those aged 60–79, 2.7% had received a second booster dose (28.8% of those eligible in this age group)

  • Among those aged 80 and older, 11.2% had received their second booster (17.4% of those eligible in this population)

• In a context of widespread circulation of SARS-CoV-2 and influenza viruses:

  • Importance of self-isolation in case of symptoms and a positive COVID-19 test

  • The need to continue practicing individual preventive measures: first and foremost, wearing a mask (especially in enclosed spaces, during large gatherings, or in the presence of vulnerable individuals), washing hands, and frequently ventilating enclosed spaces
