Mainland France:
Decline in indicators across all age groups, particularly among those under 20
Incidence and positivity rates remain high in all regions
Downward trend in new hospital admissions, though numbers remain high

Incidence and hospitalization rates remain at very high levels in Réunion

The Omicron BA.2 sublineage accounted for 99% of interpretable sequences in the Flash S15 survey (April 11)
Prevention
CoviPrev Survey Wave 33 (April 8–15, 2022):
Decline in the consistent use of preventive measures, particularly mask-wearing (42% vs. 71% in February)
68% of respondents who had already received a first booster dose were in favor of a second dose (77% among those aged 60 and older)
Vaccination status as of April 25, 2022 (Covid Vaccine data):
83.7% of those aged 65 and older had received a full primary vaccination series and a booster dose
Among those aged 60–79, 3.3% had received their second booster (32.0% of those eligible)
Among those aged 80 and older, 13.2% had received their second booster dose (19.9% of those eligible)
