In Week 26, the situation deteriorated after several weeks of improvement in epidemiological indicators, with increased circulation of SARS-CoV-2 among those under 65 and a sharp rise in the detection of the Delta variant.
A marked increase in the incidence rate among those aged 15–64, particularly among those aged 15–44
Continued decline in hospitalizations and admissions to intensive care
Mainland France: increased circulation of SARS-CoV-2 in all regions, with regional variation
Overseas territories: increase in indicators in Martinique and Réunion

Prevention
Vaccination coverage in the general population as of July 6: 52% for one dose and 38% for full vaccination
