In Week 22, there was a marked decrease in SARS-CoV-2 circulation across the entire country and a reduction in pressure on hospitals. All-cause mortality is once again within expected ranges.

Variants:
Variant 20I/501Y.V1 (Alpha) remains the dominant variant in mainland France
Variant 21A/478K (B.1.617.2, Delta) very rarely detected as of May 25 (Flash Survey #10) but with a trend toward an increase in the number of cases and clusters linked to local transmission.
Prevention
Vaccination: as of June 7
28,310,571 people have received at least one dose, vaccination coverage of 42.2%
14,017,162 people fully vaccinated, vaccination coverage of 20.9%
Promotion of vaccination for everyone aged 18 and older
Necessity of adhering to preventive measures and limiting contact
If symptoms develop, immediate isolation is required, and a test should be taken as soon as possible
