This survey explores, for the first time, the knowledge, attitudes, beliefs, and behaviors regarding HIV/AIDS among African populations living in the Île-de-France region. Conducted using an original methodology among 1,874 people aged 18 to 49, this study examines knowledge of transmission routes and protection methods, opinions and attitudes toward people living with HIV/AIDS, fear of HIV/AIDS and risk perception, prevention behaviors, and testing practices. This book is intended for all those involved in the fight against AIDS: prevention workers, health and social service professionals, as well as policymakers responsible for implementing public health policies regarding HIV/AIDS.
