Internship Responsibilities

The intern will participate in the various stages of developing visualization tools:

  • Review the databases and indicators produced by the Cancer Unit.
  • Identify visualization needs in collaboration with project managers.
  • Develop interactive visualization tools using R Shiny.
  • Design dashboards, charts, and interactive tables to visualize key indicators
  • across various dimensions (year, region, age, gender when relevant, etc.).
  • Participate in testing and improving the tools, as well as in drafting their user documentation.

Internship Activities

Using primarily R (R Shiny, tidyverse, plotly, DT…), the intern will contribute to the development of interactive data visualization tools.
