2019 Gender Survey: Participation Goal Exceeded
The second edition of the recruitment campaign for the Rapport au Sexe (ERAS) survey was a resounding success. The target of 18,000 participants was surpassed just four weeks into the campaign: to date, more than 24,000 questionnaires have been completed.
As a result, the recruitment campaign was halted on April 1, 2019, one month earlier than originally planned.
Given the continuing epidemiological concerns regarding HIV and STIs, the ERAS survey—conducted in partnership with the French National Agency for Research on AIDS and Viral Hepatitis (ANRS)—aims to better understand the prevention strategies and testing behaviors of men who have sex with men. Its second edition will assess the uptake of various prevention tools and how this has evolved over the past two years.
The initial results of this survey will be released in late 2019.
