Vaccination-info-service.fr, a new website for the general public
Vaccination-info-service.fr, launched during Vaccination Week 2016, answers the most common questions on the topic: What are vaccines for? How do they work? At what age should they be administered? Do they carry any risks?, etc. These questions are also covered in a three-minute animated infographic.
Access to reliable information is essential to fully understand why vaccination is indispensable. This is the purpose of the Vaccination-info-service.fr website in its initial version. It will be expanded and supplemented with new content, news, interactive sections, and a section for professionals by the end of 2016. For now, the site provides access to the content of the brochure "Understanding Vaccination," numerous practical tips, the vaccination schedule, the vaccination record, information on vaccine storage, locations and individuals authorized to administer vaccines, and more.
Understanding Vaccination
A three-minute animated infographic simply explains the principle of vaccination, the importance of getting vaccinated for oneself and others, and the essential vaccines.
The site also links to #, an expert system developed by doctors that allows you to check your vaccination status—as well as that of a loved one or a child—in just thirty seconds. After filling out a form, this tool provides a personalized list of diseases against which you should be protected.
