Video – A look back at the Santé publique France Conference held on May 30, 31, and June 1, 2017

More than 1,000 people attended the Public Health Conference on May 30 and 31, 2017, and the Reserve Conference on June 1, 2017, which were opened by Agnès Buzyn, Minister of Solidarity and Health, and François Bourdillon, Director General of Santé publique France. This second edition, since the creation of Santé publique France, was a resounding success among public health stakeholders, providing an opportunity to look back on these three days of discussions and insights through a report.

Three days of learning and a common thread: individual and collective determinants—what levers can we use to take action?

During the two plenary sessions, nine thematic sessions, and three workshops, more than 80 speakers shared their experiences in health surveillance, prevention, and intervention. Public health professionals, institutional representatives, scientists, associations, and volunteers were present to discuss a wide range of current topics, such as: how to reduce the impact of seasonal flu on mortality, endocrine disruptors and their effects on health, and the impact of recent terrorist attacks on mental health…
