Tick bites and Lyme disease: knowledge, attitudes, and practices. An overview of the initial findings from the 2024 Santé publique France Barometer

In 2024, in mainland France, 5% of adults aged 18 to 79 reported having been bitten by a tick in the previous 12 months. 92% of adults exposed to tick bites reported using at least one preventive measure when exposed to tick bites. 40% of adults report feeling well-informed about Lyme disease.
