Griard, Director General of Health, the report focuses specifically on indoor pollutants (household products, noise), air pollution in industrialized countries, and the toxic or pathogenic effects of certain pollutants, with a discussion of occupational diseases. Presentation of the European Charter on the Environment adopted in 1989 by the WHO, as well as the "Santenvir" program created by the State Secretariat for the Environment to study the interactions between environment and health from an operational perspective, and notably including a health education training project at the University of Montpellier (multidisciplinary instruction and an educational project on cancer prevention).
