Since the start of the pandemic, Santé publique France has made data from surveillance systems available to the public and regularly updates its monitoring indicators to keep pace with the pandemic’s progression and reflect the latest findings and developments regarding the virus.
Santé publique France is stepping up surveillance of COVID-19 in schools and among children more broadly.
Since April 1, indicators for incidence rates, testing rates, and weekly positivity rates by age group corresponding to school grades have been published nationally in the weekly epidemiological reports. Santé publique France now makes these indicators available as open data on its Géodes mapping platform at the national, regional, and departmental levels. The indicators will be updated at the same frequency as the SI-DEP indicators, namely with data for week S-1 added starting on Wednesday (consolidated data) and daily updates.
