Arboviral Diseases

Acute Respiratory Infections 

  • Escalation of the flu outbreak, characterized by a sharp increase
    in emergency department visits and hospitalizations. Virus A(H1N1)pdm09 is predominant.

Bronchiolitis in children under 1 year of age 

  • No public health impact.

Gastroenteritis 

  • Increased activity in emergency departments; stable at a moderate level
    in primary care.

Leptospirosis 

  • Off-season period, low transmission rate with sporadic cases (246 cases and 3 deaths).

Smallpox B (mpox)

  • Secondary spread from imported cases is restricted, and local transmission is limited (24 cases imported from Madagascar and 5 locally acquired cases).
