COVID-19: Epidemiological Update for Guadeloupe, Saint Martin, and Saint Barthélemy as of December 16, 2021

However, testing rates remain 31% lower than in Week 45 (the week before the social protests in Guadeloupe). In hospitals, the number of emergency room visits and the number of new hospitalizations (across all departments and in critical care) remained stable.

Saint Martin

In Saint Martin, the COVID-19 situation was favorable in Week 49. Indeed, the incidence rate was stable, and the positivity rate remained low and stable despite increased testing. In hospitals, no emergency room visits for COVID-19 and no new admissions were recorded in Week 49.

Saint Barthélemy

In Saint-Barthélemy, the epidemiological situation regarding COVID-19 was stable in Week 49 amid increased testing. In hospitals, no emergency room visits for COVID-19 and no new admissions were recorded in Week 49.
