This increase may be partly linked to the Easter weekend festivities, but also to the easing of public health measures on April 9, which led to a decline in the adherence to preventive measures.

• For the first time since the peak in incidence observed in mid-March 2022, the R0 value also increased; it stood at 1.04 [0.99–1.09] (not significantly higher than 1) over the 7-day rolling period from April 17 to 23, 2022.

• In hospitals, a slight increase in new hospital admissions was observed.
