The Alpha variant remains the dominant strain, and 95% of infections are locally transmitted. Adults aged 15 to 44 are particularly affected. In hospitals, the number of admissions was rising sharply. In community healthcare, the indicators followed the same trend.

Individual prevention measures and collective containment efforts must continue to be strengthened, and vaccination must be accelerated to curb this fourth wave.
