A confirmed case of dengue (serotype DEN-2) detected by RT-PCR was diagnosed on July 5, 2017, by the laboratory at the Martinique University Hospital. This is an imported case. Investigations and management measures related to the case are underway. A probable case of severe dengue in Saint-Barthélemy is currently hospitalized at the Pointe-à-Pitre University Hospital.
