Dengue Surveillance in Guadeloupe and the Northern Islands. Update as of August 7, 2020.

Epidemiological Situation

Guadeloupe: Since late June, surveillance indicators have stabilized or even decreased. However, the outbreak continues, and serotype 2 remains the predominant circulating serotype.

Saint Martin: Surveillance indicators have been declining sharply since early July. The epidemic therefore appears to be in a downward phase, to be confirmed in the coming weeks. The predominant circulating serotype is serotype 1.

Saint Barthélemy: The outbreak continues to spread, with the virus circulating throughout the island. The predominant circulating serotype remains serotype 2.
