Dengue Surveillance in Guadeloupe and the Northern Islands. Update as of December 26, 2019.

Epidemiological Situation

In Guadeloupe, since July 2019, nearly 3,480 clinically suspected cases of dengue have been reported. The epidemic continues, with a trend toward confirmation following the school holidays due to the closure of medical practices.

In Saint Martin, the decline in surveillance indicators during week 51 of 2019 should be interpreted with caution due to the absence of doctors during this end-of-year period.

In Saint Barthélemy, the epidemiological situation has remained stable for the past three weeks despite the emergence of the first two biologically confirmed cases in late November.
