Dengue Surveillance in Guadeloupe and the Northern Islands. Update as of February 6, 2020.
Epidemiological Situation
In Guadeloupe, since the start of the outbreak (mid-October 2019), nearly 5,040 cases clinically suggestive of dengue have been seen in private practice. Surveillance indicators (community, hospital) remain high for this period.
In Saint Martin, the management committee has declared a dengue epidemic, with nearly 100 clinically suspected cases seen in private practice over the past two weeks and more than 40 biologically confirmed cases.
In Saint Barthélemy, an increase in the number of clinically suggestive cases has been observed over the past three weeks (March 2020 to May 2020). The situation is being closely monitored.
