Epidemiological Situation

Guadeloupe: The epidemic continues to circulate intensively throughout the territory. Since the start of the epidemic (late 2019), there has been one death and one severe case directly linked to dengue. Serotype 2 remains the predominant circulating serotype.

Saint Martin: An average of about 30 clinically suspected dengue cases has been reported each week for the past 4 weeks (2020-42 to 2020-45), indicating a decrease in dengue activity on the island. The outbreak continues. One death has been reported since the start of the outbreak (early 2020). Serotype DENV-1 is widely detected.

Saint Barthélemy: the decline in dengue surveillance indicators continues, though levels remain high. Analysis of recent samples has detected exclusively the DENV-1 serotype.
