Dengue Surveillance in Martinique. Update as of August 7, 2020.

Epidemiological Situation

Epidemiological surveillance indicators for dengue indicate that the epidemic is continuing in Martinique. The spatial distribution of biologically confirmed cases shows very active viral circulation throughout the territory, particularly in the municipalities of the central and northern parts of the island. The South, however, remains affected by the epidemic, particularly the municipality of Le Diamant. Martinique is currently classified as Phase 4, Level 1 under the PSAGE dengue system: confirmed epidemic.
