Dengue Surveillance in Martinique. Update as of June 4, 2020.
Epidemiological Situation
All epidemiological surveillance indicators for dengue have confirmed for nearly six weeks a trend toward increased viral circulation in Martinique. Furthermore, the spatial distribution of biologically confirmed cases shows a continued intensification and spread of viral circulation across a large part of the territory, except in the far north of the island, which appears to have been spared so far. The Technical Committee for Dengue Monitoring, consulted to assess the dengue situation in light of the PSAGE* phases, proposes moving to Phase 4, Level 1 of the PSAGE dengue protocol, “confirmed epidemic.” The Management Committee will meet shortly to decide on this proposal.
