Dengue Surveillance in Martinique. Update as of November 13, 2020.

Epidemiological Situation

The dengue epidemic that began a year ago reached its peak in week 2020-40. Since then, epidemiological surveillance indicators have shown a clear decrease in viral circulation. Nevertheless, the outbreak continues, with weekly figures remaining high and above epidemic thresholds. Vigilance regarding the maintenance of measures to combat the mosquito vector (Aedes aegypti) therefore remains essential during this period of heavy rains and flooding.

Martinique remains at Phase 4, Level 1 of the PSAGE dengue alert system: confirmed epidemic.
